Lobster Telephone Dress

In mid October, 2018 I made a Lobster Telephone Dress for Ingrid Jacobus to wear to the Dali Museum Suenos party in St. Petersburg, FL. A week later it was featured in a St. Petersburg Times Newspaper story with 3 other costumes from the event. Pictured are Ingrid and Jake Jacobus in the gallery with Dali's Lobster Telephone.
Each Lobster stole (front & back) required about 30 hours of hand stitched needlework.
Thanks to Jessee's Alterations on 4th St. N. at 54th Ave. for her advice and guidance.
The dress was created with optional sleeves to complete the appearance of the telephone receiver.
Modeled by Raven Medina.

April 2018

I stuff glass vessels with interesting small items. A great way to honor somebody here or someone who has made their transition.  Items must fit through a small 2.5" - 3" diameter opening. This is one I did recently for an events planner. The head has clear chairs, floral bouquets, and silverware inside along with other memorabilia from her career. Produced as a "going away" gift.

The skull below was produced for a co-worker when he transitioned to a new job.
